DIRECTIONS FROM CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO MOORING HOUSE GUEST LODGE IN SOMERSET WEST Take Highway (N2) from airport to Somerset West. After 10 minutes driving you will pass an Engine service station on your left hand side. About 3 kilometers further you will pass an exit. Do not take it but carry on driving. The next exit is also about 5 km further - this is the one to take R44 / STELLENBOSCH / BLVARD. At the top of the exit turn left towards R44/ Stellenbosch and the mountain. You will approach a big 4 way traffic light intersection and a bit further the Lord Charles Hotel on your left. At these traffic lights turn right into Somerset West. Turn left at the first road you approach after turning at the traffic lights - this road is HELDERBERG COLLEGE ROAD. Drive up Helderberg College Road until you come to a 4 way stop intersection. Cross over and carry on driving up. You will pass a Spar and Wang Thai restaurant on your right. First road left after the stop intersection is Mayfair. Turn Left into Mayfair Ave and we are Number 4. MOORING HOUSE GUEST LODGE on the right hand side of road. |

DIRECTIONS FROM GEORGE / KNYSNA / HERMANUS – HIGHWAY N2 TO MOORING HOUSE GUEST LODGE IN SOMERSET WEST Follow N2 (Highway) from EITHER George / Knysna or Hermanus to Somerset West. Roughly 15 minutes outside Somerset West you will be at the bottom of Sir Lowry's Pass. You will pass a Shell Fuel Station on your left. Continue driving, passing a traffic light. You will then pass a big Garden Centre Nursery on your right and then go over a small bridge. TAKE CARE – SPEED CAMERA'S are installed along this stretch of road especially on the small bridge. You will then pass through 3 sets of traffic lights (and just as a marker, TOYOTA, PEUGOT, HELDERBERG AUTO BMW dealers will be on your left). After the last traffic lights the N2 will make a slight bend and you will have the Somerset West Golf Course on your right and then a big white building (the Somerset West Shopping Mall) on your left. Get into the left lane. Take the exit ramp R44 / STELLENBOSCH / BLVARD/ STRAND. At the top of the ramp turn right towards the mountain. You will approach a big 4 way traffic light intersection. A smaller shopping complex (Waterstone Village) will be on your left hand side and a bit further the Lord Charles Hotel on your left. At these traffic lights turn right into Somerset West. Turn left at the first road you approach after turning at the traffic lights - this road is HELDERBERG COLLEGE ROAD. Drive up Helderberg College Road until you come to a 4 way stop intersection. Cross over and carry on driving up. First road left after the stop intersection is Mayfair. Turn Left into Mayfair Ave and we are No.4 – MOORING HOUSE GUEST LODGE on the right hand side of road |
